Monkey Tails, Part 2

The last post I discussed the age of the earth. Today I want to finish this subject. Evolution teaches that man came from monkeys; and a “missing” link is needed to prove that. The scientists scramble to give us one. First it was Lucy; then they discovered that the pieces for Lucy were all scattered around and that she was just a three-foot chimpanzee. “Oops!” say the scientists, “scrap that one, boys.”

Another one was Nebraska Man, which was later discovered to be built from the tooth of an… Continue reading “Monkey Tails, Part 2”

Is There a God?

Some of our readers may question if there is a God. And the honest answer to that question is: Yes. There is a God.

Can you have art, without an artist? Or a watch, without a watchmaker? Can you have a design, without a designer? Just as you cannot have art without an artist; or a watch without a watchmaker; or a design without a designer; you cannot have creation without a Creator.

Now, of course, we can’t see God; not yet. But do we have to see someone to believe that they exist? I do not have to see the people who build computers to know they exist. Therefore, we don’t have to see God to believe that He exists.

So now, since there is a God, would anyone care to guess what that means? It means that, since He created this place, He owns it. And if He owns it, we’d better find out what He says and we’d better do it. Of course, as Christians, we won’t perfectly do what He says until we reach Heaven, but we ought to try. If you are not a Christian, read the following very carefully:

    1. Admit that you are a sinner, for the Bible says that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:10, 3:23).
    2. Be willing to turn from sin (repent), for the Bible says that if we do not repent, we will perish (Luke 13:3 & 5).
    3. Confess and believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and Saviour of the world, and accept Him as the only way to Heaven (Romans 10:9-10).

If you will sincerely do that, then you will be eternally saved. And then, when we leave this earth, we will see God, and Jesus Christ, Whom God hath sent.

And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent” (John 17:3).
